‘I could never love a baby as much’: Devoted dog owner spends £10,000 on party for pooches that included canine cocktails, beauty treatments and a DJ
Daniela Forshaw, 39, from Essex spent £10,00 on a party for dogs
The event featured cocktails for dogs called ‘muttinis’ and ‘barkbellinis’
The party also offered dog-friendly cakes, cheeseboards and canapes
A dog fanatic has spent more than £10,000 on a party for her pet canines.
Daniela Forshaw from Essex splashed the cash on a party complete with entertainment and special dog-friendly treats instead of taking a holiday to the Caribbean this summer.
The 39 year old even created a range of cocktails for the pooches and laid on beauty treatments.

Daniela, who owns the company Daniela’s Dogs decided to host the bash so that local dogs would have the opportunity to socialise.
She believes that many dog owners in her area were becoming reluctant to allow their animals off the lead in places like parks, which means that have little time to bond with other mutts.
She invited several owners and their pets to join her and her five dogs – two greyhounds, two miniature poodles and a basset/ beagle cross – at her house at Burnham on Crouch for a no-expense-spared party.
On the menu were canine-friendly canapés including fillet steak wraps and duck and orange paté, followed by cakes and a cheeseboard.
The animals could then wash the food down with cocktails that included ‘muttinis’ and strawberry ‘Barkbellinis.’
She told the Daily Star Sunday: ‘My dogs had a great time. I’m going to do the party as an annual event because dogs deserve a treat as much as humans.’
After their meal, the dogs could either relax in the paddling pool, play with any of the numerous games on offer or have a beauty treatment from a list that included ‘furjazzles’, massages and cucumber facials, while listening to a DJ hired especially for the event.
Later in the day, all of the animal guests took part in a contest that was judged by Big Brother contestants Biannca Lake, 31, and Kimberly Kisselovich, 23.
Prizes included everything from the most ‘reem’ dog to the one with the most swagger.
It was such a roaring success that Daniela is already planning a second party next year.
She said: ‘My husband said we could have two weeks in the Caribbean or the party. I chose the party straight away.
‘It would have been nice to have a break but my dogs are so much more important.’
£10,000 is small fry compared the amount that Daniela has spent on her dogs overall.
The pet owner has spent more than £25,000 on fur dye, hair cuts, bling accessories and a fancy diet for each of the dogs – often going without treats herself so that she can afford the expensive treatments.
She said: ‘I know people will think it sounds insane but if I had human babies it would detract attention from my other dog babies. I could never love a baby as much.’
