Police Investigated Wounding Incident in George Town

Just after 9:45PM on Sunday 23 January, police and other emergency service responded to a report of a wounding incident that took place on Mary Street, George Town.
Officers attended Mary Street and located a man with a wound to the head lying on the ground. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. His injuries are believed to be serious but non-life-threatening and he was later discharged.
The incident is being investigated by the police and anyone with information about what took place, specifically those persons who were at the Denzel Bar on Mary Street at the time of the incident, is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
