Police officer’s home damaged by gunfire
A police investigation has been launched after the West Bay home of a serving RCIPS Officer was damaged by gunfire this weekend.
Shortly before 4.30am on Sunday, 22 January 2012, police received a report of what appeared to be gunfire in Velma Banks Drive, West Bay.
Subsequent investigations revealed that the home of a serving police officer had been damaged by gunfire. No-one was injured in the incident and security precautions have been put in place with respect to the safety of the officer and his family.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
