With over 300 persons at the People’s Progressive Movement’s (PPM) rally on Monday (7) in Savannah there were some surprises when guest speakers shared the platform.

Without doubt the biggest surprise was the controversial figure of Dr. Frank McField who was once a UDP Cabinet Minister for sports, gender and community affairs.

It would appear PPM leader, Alden McLaughlin, is going all out in searching for persons who would seem to have differing political leanings to his, in order to form a coalition. Mr. McField called it a “broader coalition.”

His audience, although surprised, gave him a warm welcome.
