Prisoner escapes from CI Hospital: Photo and description released
The RICPS confirmed to us that at around 12.30pm Thu (19) a male prisoner, Jeremy Claston Holness, aged 30,who was being treated at the Cayman Islands Hospital in George Town, escaped from his police guard. Officers are currently searching for the man and an enquiry into the circumstances surrounding the escape will be conducted.
Police have released the name and a picture of a man who escaped from police custody earlier today.
Holness had been arrested yesterday ( Wednesday, 18 July) on suspicion of burglary. He was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital in George Town earlier today when he complained of feeling unwell.
He is described as being 5’11” in height, weighing 185lbs. He has a light brown complexion, brown eyes and, although his head is shaven at present, his natural hair colour is black. He is not believed to be a danger to the public. However, anyone who sees this man, or knows of his present whereabouts, is urged to contact their nearest police station.
