Progressives introduce candidates
An ever increasing crowd of supporters turned up to the Progressives Headquarters last Friday (31) evening to meet most of their candidates running in the May election.
They are:
Archer, Marco
Bodden, Heather
Bodden, Osbourne
Bodden-Robinson, Maxine
Chisolm, Edward
Conolly, Barbara
Hew, Joseph
Kirkconnell, Moses
McLaughlin, Alden
McTaggart, Roy
O’Connor-Connolly, Juliana
Orrett, Daphne
Panton, Wayne
Seymour, Lucille
Wight, David
Although West Bayer Tara Rivers is running as an Independent, Alden McLaughlin, the leader of the Progressives revealed she is being backed by the Progressives.
McLaughlin sounded very confident he will reach, at the very least. the ten elected members he needs to continue his government that has done an excellent job of bringing respectability and financial soundness to the Cayman Islands over the last four years.
With the excellent food on offer at the Progressives meeting, Fish Fry and Fritters, and the soca/reggae music, that alone should seal their victory.
