The Ministry of Education is delighted to host the official opening of the new Clifton Hunter High School in Frank Sound, this Thursday April 11th, 2013 at 6pm.  All are invited to attend the official ceremony, tour the school and see the students showcase their many talents in their new school environment.

There have been many controversies surrounding the Clifton Hunter HS project that was commenced by the People’s Progressive Movement (PPM) Government that was budgeted at $58.9M but was claimed by the ex-premier McKeeva Bush United Democratic Party (UDP) lead government as costing twice that much.

It was because of largely this over spending on the project claimed Bush that Cayman has had to have its budgets approved by the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
