Foster’s Food Fair-IGA stores are buzzing with excitement now that one of their most popular promotional games is back for the summer. Punch ‘n Play, an eight-week, scratch card game gives customers the chance to win prizes just for shopping with Foster’s.

While sticking with the same format that made Punch ‘n Play such a huge success in previous years, various in-store games have been added to the mix which were creatively designed to help customers fill up their Punch ‘n Play cards and keep the excitement going for the full length of the promotion. Customers who win an entry into the weekly drawing will also have the chance to place their punched cards into a specially marked box to participate in a weekly drawing for a chance to win cash prizes. Customers can also receive bonus punches by listening out for in-store trivia and for purchasing specially marked products with the Foster’s logo, Coco the Clown, on them.

Punch ‘n Play kicks off on Thursday, 2 July and will run until Wednesday, 26 August. Every customer will receive a Punch ‘n Play card. Each time they shop at any Foster’s location they will receive a hole punch on the card that will be based on the items they have purchased. Once the customer fills up the card to $300.00 in purchases, their cashier will scratch off the card to reveal their prize.

Every card is a winner! Prizes will range from from $1.00 up to the grand prize of $10,000.00 or groceries valued from $10.00-$100.00 that can be used at all store locations, including Priced Right and Bay Market. Customers can also win an entry into the weekly drawing.

In keeping with their slogan “We Care,” Foster’s has also brought back a charity donation option that allows customers to donate any portion of their winnings to six local charities including – Feed our Future, Cancer Society, Humane Society, LIFE, Hospice Care and Kiwanis.

While the goal of many promotions is to make a profit, Managing Director, Woody Foster says “Our summer promotion is a way to give back to our valued customers and to say thank you for shopping with us”.
