Next week, The Cayman Islands Tennis Club is excited to host the 2013 pwc Cayman Islands Open Tennis Tournament and the 2013 pwc Men’s Invitational Championships.  This year, there will essentially be two very exciting tournaments that will take place back to back within weeks of each other between January 18^th and February 2^th.  The pwc Cayman Islands Open will take place January 18^th to January 26^th.  This tournament is being offered to anyone on the Island who would like to play in the men’s and women’s open divisions as will as a men’s 50’s and over divisions.  The top qualifiers of the men’s open will then be invited to take on and participate in the 2013 pwc Men’s Invitational Championships which will field quite possibly the largest amount of talent the Open has seen in past years and is expected to be more exciting and competitive than last year’s tournament!  Already, The Cayman Islands Tennis Club has been in contact with some international participants for this year’s tournament and yes, last year’s doubles champion Stefano Ianni is expected to defend last year’s title.

The Cayman Islands Tennis Club expresses their deepest gratitude to pwc, the main sponsor of the tournament. This will be their seventh year sponsoring the event and without them it would have been impossible to stage such a successful tournament.  The Cayman Islands Tennis Club is also very excited to have Cayman National Bank for a second year of sponsoring the Invitational Tournament that will be at the Cayman Islands Tennis Club on January 29^th.
