RBC Cayman staff honoured by Cayman Government for their contributions to the community
Nassau, Bahamas – Three staff members of Royal Bank (RBC) Cayman were recently recognized for their spirit of volunteerism and their contribution to the local community. These individuals join a list of local artists, cultural icons, community leaders and others whose longstanding commitment and service have enhanced the life and welfare of the citizens of Cayman.
Mrs. Cora Grant James, Manager of Debt Collections, was named by Governor Duncan Taylor as a Queen’s 2013 New Year’s honouree. Mrs. Grant was honoured with the Cayman Islands Certificate and Badge of Honour in recognition of her services to the community. She will receive her award in June as part of the Queen’s official birthday celebration.
In addition to donating funds to numerous social, cultural and environmental organizations, RBC encourages employee volunteering. RBC sponsors employee volunteer programs to reflect and support the critical role RBC employee’s play in community building. RBC recognizes and rewards employee volunteers through the RBC Day of Service Grant, the RBC Employee Volunteer Grants Program and the RBC Community Spirit Award.
