RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE), today announced the appointment of Ojan Jamkhou as Head of Credit for its Global Trust and Wealth Management-UK businesses.

Based in London, Mr Jamkhou will be responsible both for the continued growth and quality of RBC Wealth Management’s credit portfolio across the UK and Channel Islands and for managing the credit requirements for RBC Wealth Management’s Captive Insurance business in the Cayman Islands and Barbados. He reports to Chris Blampied, Head of Banking for RBC Wealth Management’s Global Trust and Wealth Management-UK businesses.

Mr Jamkhou moves to his new position from RBC Wealth Management’s Toronto offices, where he was Vice President, Strategic Initiatives. He has over 23 years’ experience in the banking industry and for the last 11 years has held a number of senior roles within RBC in Canada. He holds a BA from York University in Toronto and an MBA from Dalhousie University along with Fellowship of the Canadian Banking Institute.
