From RCIPS

Over the past ten days five cars have been reported stolen on GCM. Specifically, 4 Honda CRVs have been taken, as well as one Mercedes Benz. As of today one Honda CRV and one Mercedes Benz have been recovered, but we are requesting the assistance of the public in locating the other three vehicles. These are, specifically:

· A 1999 White Honda CRV, Registration# 147 807, stolen on 26th August 2015 from West Bay Road, George Town;

· A 1997 Green Honda CRV, Registration# 110 754, stolen on 30th August 2015 from South Church Street, George Town;

· A 2000 Silver Honda CRV, Registration# 139 474, stolen on 31st August 2015 from South Church Street, George Town.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these vehicles is encouraged to call George Town Police Station at 949-4222 or to report the information to any district police station. They can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-8477(TIPS).

For ease of reference a picture of a white 1999 Honda CRV is below. This is not the stolen vehicle, but a picture of a similar car.

UPDATED: After media reports (Sep 2) of our appeal to the public to assist with the location of stolen vehicles, police received information from a member of the public and located the stolen 1997 Green Honda CRV on Bodden Road. We are grateful for this cooperation, and continue our appeal for similar assistance from the public to locate the 1999 White Honda CRV and the 2000 Silver Honda CRV.
