“Real Time With Bill Maher” returns to HBO
Season 12 will premiere on January 17th in the Caribbean, simultaneously with the United States
Miami, FL – HBO Latin America announced the premiere of the 12th season of the award-winning talk show Real Time with Bill Maher in the Caribbean on January 17th, simultaneously with the United States. Hosted by comedian and political satirist Bill Maher, the popular program discusses current events in politics and the media.
Season 12 sees Bill Maher continuing to offer his unique perspective on contemporary issues. The show includes an opening monologue, roundtable discussions with panelists, and interviews with special in-studio and satellite guests. Past guests have included Michael Moore, Ben Affleck, Anthony Weiner, Rob Lowe, Alec Baldwin, John Edwards and Robin Williams, among many others.
Real Time with Bill Maher debuted in February 2003 and now celebrates its 11th year on air. Due to its success, the show has been nominated for Primetime Emmy® Awards for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series every year from 2005 to 2013, and has also garnered Emmy® nominations in the Outstanding Writing, Directing and Individual Performance categories.
Maher serves as an executive producer of the series along with Scott Carter, Sheila Griffiths, Brad Grey, Marc Gurvitz, Billy Martin and Nancy Geller. Dean E. Johnsen is co-executive producer, with Paul Casey serving as director.
