Description
Creamy avocado, tangy lime juice, tomato, onion, and a jalapeño kick makes this versatile guacamole the perfect pre-meal or side to your dish. Switch out jalapeño for serrano pepper if you want extra spice. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Erika Sanchez.
Ingredients
ERVINGS2Â
large avocados
1 jalapeño chili
1Â Roma tomato
1/2 cup red onion (finely chopped)
1/3 cup lime juice (about 2 limes)
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1Â lime slice
tortilla chips
Directions
- Cut avocados in half, remove pit, and scoop out flesh to a medium bowl. Mash with a fork or pastry blender.

- Finely chop tomato and onion. Juice limes and stir into avocado along with garlic salt and black pepper. Gently fold in tomato and onion, then transfer to a serving bowl.
- Cut a lime slice in half and set on guacamole. Serve with tortilla chips.
