Reebok and Universal Monsters Unveil New “Boktober” Collection

Classic Styles Like the Instapump Fury 94 Mid and Pump TZ Get a Spooky Makeover to Bring the Halloween Spirit Alive in This Iconic Partnership

(BOSTON) October 4, 2024 – Today, Reebok, the iconic and irreverent sports culture brand, and Universal Products & Experiences have teamed up to revive Reebok’s “Boktober” celebration. Kicking off this year’s Halloween season with a collection of shoes inspired by the classic Universal Monsters, the collaboration features five iconic Reebok footwear silhouettes reimagined to pay homage to the horror icons, featuring Dracula, Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein, the Creature From the Black Lagoon, and the Wolfman.

Universal Monsters, pioneers of the horror genre, have influenced pop culture for decades. Their cinematic universe was one of the first of its kind in Hollywood history, and the legacy of these classic characters continues to captivate audiences. Reebok’s ‘Boktober’ capsule brings a modern, elevated take on each Monster’s unique identity, characteristics, and iconic stories, blending grunge aesthetics with a creepy edge designed to appeal to every horror film enthusiast.

The Universal Monsters x Reebok collection presents five (5) unique footwear styles inspired by the most recognizable horror icons, each presented in a custom tombstone packaging. The collection includes:

  • Instapump Fury 94 Mid + Creature from the Black Lagoon ($220 MSRP): Two legends, one shoe. Inspired by deep-sea creatures, this design marks the 70th anniversary of Creature From the Black Lagoon and the 30th anniversary of Reebok’s Instapump Fury. With a moss and algae print and reptilian-textured nubuck overlays, it celebrates both anniversaries in a fusion of style and history.
  • BB 4000 II + Dracula ($130 MSRP): Featuring a premium patent leather upper, the shoe showcases color-shifting material that resembles blood, paying tribute to the most famous vampire of all time.
  • Club C Bulc + The Wolfman ($120 MSRP): This style includes a textile upper with exaggerated hairy suede overlays, distressed laces, and blood-stained textile lining, capturing the primal nature of The Wolfman.
  • Pump TZ + Frankenstein ($180 MSRP): With glue-stain details and deco stitching throughout, the Pump TZ honors the iconic Frankenstein with metal hardware representing the monster’s neck bolts and a translucent aged rubber outsole.
  • Club C Megacourt + The Bride of Frankenstein ($120 MSRP): Inspired by the monster’s construction from old body parts, this women’s-only design features distressed two-toned laces, deco stitching throughout, and a distressed rubber outsole.
