Reebok Celebrates the Underground Energy of Iconic Cities with Zig Kinetica Undersounds Collection

In Collaboration with Spotify, Reebok’s Newest Zig Kinetica Collection is an Immersive Experience for Your Feet

September 24, 2020 – Boston, MA –  Building off its debut in SS20, Reebok continues to add momentum to its Zig Kinetica franchise with unique collaborations and unexpected styles.  Its latest release is no exception.  The Zig Kinetica Undersounds collection celebrates the sounds and subcultures of some of America’s most iconic cities: Atlanta, Houston and New York.

Silhouettes within the collection brings to life the heart and soul of each city, featuring unique design paired with Spotify codes printed on the sockliner that give wearers access to curated playlists that embody each city’s sounds and local music scene.  The end result are shoes that provide an immersive and celebratory experience into the underground energy of some of America’s most legendary subcultures.

Key styles and designs within the Zig Kinetica Undersounds Collection include:

• Atlanta ‘Lemon Pepper’ – a tribute to one of the most renowned flavors from the Atlanta food scene: the Lemon Pepper Wing.  The midsole/shell speckle combination represents the double-dipped seasoning, while the yellow upper is a nod to the bold lemon flavor.
• Houston ‘Candy Paint’ –  a sublimated gradient fade upper and translucent Zig energy shell with an iridescent finish pay homage to the candy paint synonymous with Houston’s historic SLAB culture.
• ‘New York Minute’ – inspired by the ‘city that never sleeps,’ a black upper and colorful, warm-toned gradient midsole and collar lining bring to life the hues of the sky while the sun is rising and setting – a celebration of the daily grind of NYC and the innate hustle of its locals.
