BOSTON, MASS. / QUEENS, N.Y.– March 29— Today, Reebok and NST2, brand of musician and style icon A$AP NAST, announce their first official collaboration together: a streetwear inspired refresh of the Classic Leather Legacy that will be available exclusively on Reebok.com starting April 2 at 10am EST.

Reebok began a relationship with A$AP Nast in September 2020 when he helped launch the Classic Leather Legacy through content creation for Reebok’s global Write Your Legacy campaign. However, this is the first product collaboration for the two brands, which is something A$AP Nast has always dreamt of. “Reebok is the first and only brand I’ve ever proactively reached out to work with because I knew I wanted to create something special with them to be a part of my legacy. I wanted to create my own version of a Reebok icon.”

The selection of the Classic Leather Legacy silhouette was due to A$AP Nast’s nostalgic love of the icon, “I’ve always loved the Classic Leather silhouette because it reminds me of the streets of London, my favorite city; both timeless classics.” And the simplistic yet personal twist on the legacy is a result of A$AP Nast’s desire to make the shoe a closet staple for anyone and everyone.

The collaboration’s creative campaign pays tribute to A$AP Nast’s childhood memories of the brand. “Growing up in the 90’s, I always remember loving my mom and aunts’ sense of style and how they were always in their Reeboks. So that is what we used as inspiration for the shoot – the late 80’s/early 90’s door-knocking era vibe,” said A$AP Nast.

This Classic Leather Legacy ($100) is constructed of premium suedes, garment leather and herringbone textile materials. Classic NST2 branding is located on the sock liner as well as branding on the window heel. The product also comes in specially designed NST2 packaging.

The Classic Leather Legacy will be sold exclusively on Reebok.com starting April 2 at 10am EST.
