Remembrance Sunday: commemorating the Caribbean contribution
The annual Remembrance Sunday was commemorated in Centenary Square, Birmingham with members of the Caribbean community represented.

#9 Vincent Daniel adorned in the first battle standard that Queen Victoria gave to the West Indies regiment. West Indian soldiers used to be addressed as ‘the Queen’s gentlemen’.
Vincent is the only black man who’s ever been allowed to be a forensic crime scene investigator for Scotland Yard (Fingerprint expert) and the only black man who’s an executive member of the Royal British Legion.
