One of the top luxury retreats in the Caribbean has unveiled six new penthouse suites with sweeping views of the sea and eye-watering price tags of up to $16million (£11.5million) each.
The two- and three-bedroom penthouses at the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Grand Cayman are aimed at wealthy holidaymakers who want all the perks of a resort but their own private space away from guests.
The largest suite has more than 8,000 feet of space and the highest asking price – $16.1million – while the smallest suite, at 2,540 square feet, is selling for $3.8million (£2.7million).
Located on the top floor of the resort’s south tower, the biggest penthouse boasts three bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen with the latest appliances, a large outdoor terrace and a private cinema.
The suites have views of the stunning Seven Mile Beach and turquoise waters of North Sound, and each has a unique floor plan.
