Operational Guidelines 
Tennis
as of June 4th 2020 

RESERVATIONS, CHECK IN, AND ARRIVAL

Reservations
• Reservations must be made in advance by phone or email. No walk-ins will be accepted. 
• Guest must choose court surface (hard or clay) during reservation process. 
• During reservation, guest must pre-pay for the lesson by credit or debit card. 
• Guest will be advised to bring own racquet, towel, water bottle, and to bypass the shop and go straight to the court. 

Check-In and Arrival
• Outdoor Check-in will be implemented. Guest will be checked in by Tennis Attendant at the court with required social distancing, taking their information and subsequently processing it in Spa Soft. 
• Rental Racquet will be provided only if necessary. Racquet will be sprayed with Sanitizer and a new grip will be put on before each use. 

TENNIS SHOP

Tennis Shop Procedure
• Only 2 people maximum may enter the Pro Shop at one time (1 guest + 1 staff member) 
• A station outside the Tennis Pro Shop will be set up with sanitizer, gloves, and masks. 
• Tennis Attendant or Tennis Coach will wear a mask and gloves to enter the shop. 
• Guest must wear a mask to enter and will be provided a mask if he/she does not have one. 
• All guests must use sanitizer before entering the shop 
• Disposable gloves will be available to avoid direct contact with merchandise 
• Shop will be sanitized after guest leaves (touch points like counter, door handle, debit card machine etc.) 

TENNIS LESSONS AND BALL CONTACT

• Lesson time of 50 minutes will be strictly adhered to, to give the Coach and Attendant time to properly sanitize 
between each lesson. 
• Guests will not be allowed to touch any tennis balls – only the Tennis Attendant and/or the Coach are allowed 
to pick up balls 
• If the guest wants to practice serves, a disposable glove for the tossing hand will be provided to avoid direct contact with the ball 
• Towels will not be provided. 
• After the tennis lesson, fond farewells will remain at 6-feet apart, maintaining social distancing 
 
COURT CLEANLINESS AND OVERALL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Tennis Attendant will always wear gloves and a mask 
• Staff will wash their hands frequently throughout the day. 
• Stations with sanitizer, masks and gloves will be provided outside the shop and on the courts
• Communication with the guest will be from at least 6 feet away, practicing social distancing, avoiding handshakes and any physical contact 
• Tennis Attendant will sanitize furniture and court tools (line brush and sweeper) before and after every session 
• Golf cart will be only for individuals or members of the same family, and will be sanitized before and after every use 
• Staff will clean and sanitize frequent touch points like doorknob, outdoor furniture, water dispenser, etc. every 2 hours 
• No staff member will touch or handle any of the guest’s tennis equipment.
