Road Closures – Pirates Week and Remembrance Day parade
The following road closures will be in place for Pirates Week and Sunday’s Remembrance Day parade.
Thursday 7 November
Harbour Drive from Fort Street to Shedden Road from 3.00pm on Thursday until approximately 3.00am on Friday.
Friday 8 November
Harbour Drive from Fort Street to Boilers Road. Junctions of Shedden Road at RBC roundabout; Goring Avenue / Harbour Drive; Hard Rock/ Harbour Drive; Cardinall Avenue/ Albert Panton Street. The roads will be closed from 3.00pm on Friday until approximately 3.00am on Saturday.
Saturday 9 November
The following junctions will be closed from noon on Saturday until midnight – Memorial Avenue/ South Church Street; Boilers Road/ Walkers Road; Exit of Bayshore Mall parking lot/ South Church Street; Goring Avenue/ Louise Llewellyn Way; Fort Street/ North Church Street; Mary Street/ Fort Street; Shedden Road/ Dr. Roy’s Drive; Dr. Roy’s Drive/ Edward Street; Edward Street/ Fort Street; Edward Street/ Fort Street Town Hall; Elgin Avenue beyond Hospital Road.
Sunday 10th November
The following junctions will be closed for Remembrance Day from 9am until 11am.Harbour Drive/ Fort Street and Cardinal Avenue/ Harbour Drive.
Wednesday 13 November
Cardinall Avenue/ Albert Panton Street and Cardinall Avenue / Harbour Drive will be closed from 7.00am until 5.00pm on Thursday.
Saturday 16 November
Shedden Road/ Dr. Roy’s Drive to Subway (downtown location) will be closed to westbound traffic between 8.30am until 10.00am for the under 12’s circuit race.
At 11.00am South Church Street to Boilers Road and Harbour Drive to Fort Street will be closed for the cardboard boat race. Then at 3.00pm Boilers Road/ Goring Avenue; Boilers Road/ South Church Street; Goring Avenue/ Louise Llewellyn Way; Fort Street/ North Church Street and Cardinall Avenue/ Albert Panton Street will close until midnight.
