As of midnight Saturday 6th December 2014, vehicular traffic will be restricted in Central George Town, South Sound and Red Bay areas as organizers prepare for the 2014 Cayman Islands Half Marathon.

Approximately 2,000 persons will be competing in the marathon and in the interest of public safety, motorist are asked to seek alternate routes to their destinations as a number of junctions will be closed/restricted in order to ensure the overall safety of the participants and spectators.

Uniform officers will be on hand to assist the motoring public.

The marathon starts at 5:00am and concludes around 11:00am Sunday 7th December 2014.
