Robbery Friday (27) West Bay

On Friday, 27th February 2015 at about 8:14 pm officers of the West Bay Police Station responded to a robbery on Scholars Drive, West Bay. A 49-year-old female (victim) was driven home by her 54 year-old sister. She was also accompanied by another sister aged 39-years and her 10-year-old niece.
As they drove into their apartment complex parking lot and came out of the vehicle, the victim was approached in the carpark by a male suspect who grabbed a hold of her hand bag, which was strapped over her left shoulder. Simultaneously, the suspect pulled a hand gun on her. During the struggle, the handbag’s strap broke, and the suspect ran off with it towards Scholars Drive accompanied by another suspect.
As a result of the robbery, the victim sustained slight injuries to her left elbow and left knee. Medics personnel attended the scene and threated the victim’s injuries. No one else was physically injured, and no shots were fired.
The victim’s handbag contained a cellular phone, a passport and a small amount of CI cash.
The suspects are described as follows:
(1) Dark skinned male, about 6ft tall, skinny built, dressed in all black, long sleeved shirt and a black covering over his face.
(2) Dark skinned male, wearing a Polo shirt with a square design across the chest, possibly red in colour.
