Robbery suspect charged and due in court

A teenager, who has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery and theft , is due in court tomorrow morning.

The 17-year-old, who was arrested in Bodden Town on 9 April, has been charged in connection with a robbery Dr. Roy’s Drive on 23 March when a woman was robbed of her handbag and an attempted robbery in Newport Avenue on 4 April when another woman was pulled to the ground and an attempt made to steal her handbag.
He has also been charged with the theft of a pedal cycle.

It is anticipated that he will appear in court tomorrow, Friday 12 April, 2013.
