In total, 87 bicycles from Williams’ collection are being auctioned off. Proceeds will be donated to two charities Williams supported: The Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
As noted by SF Gate, Williams was an avid cycling fan, attending the Tour de France and often being spotted riding bikes around the Bay Area.
The collection donated by Williams’ children features a wide range of bikes, from a unicycle to unique small bikes to a child’s Schwinn cruiser. One estimate, according to CNN, suggests that the bikes could bring in upwards of $200,000.
The entire collection is hosted over at Paddle 8, which also includes an in-depth look at Williams and his love of bikes throughout his life.
