Sacha Tibbetts appointed Vice President, Customer Service and Technology
Mr. Tibbetts will be responsible for implementing the Company’s new business and technology goals including aggressive targets for renewable energy sources to be connected to CUC’s electricity grid.
With over 17 years experience in the energy business, he will also be responsible for the long- term planning, engineering and construction of transmission, distribution and production systems, project management for all large capital projects, and for the adoption and successful deployment of customer facing information technologies that enhance service to our customers.
Accepting the new appointment, Mr. Tibbetts said, “There is a lot of anticipated change in the energy market and I am excited to take on the challenges which will come with this change. I look forward to supporting the Executive and management team as together we continue to deliver a least-cost, safe and reliable service to our customers.”
Mr. Tibbetts joined CUC in 1999, and has been a member of the Management Team since 2003. Most recently he successfully headed the Company’s largest capital project to date, the installation of the 40 MW generation project which is on track for completion in early June.

Mr. Tibbetts earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Florida, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
