An elite group of students are about to once again prove that it’s never too early to start managing your money. This year’s Saxon Investment Club was launched on October 1^st to local high school and college students ages 14-19; participating institutions are the John Gray High School, Cayman Prep and High School, St. Ignatius, Clifton Hunter High School and ICCI.

Saxon Investment Club offers students the opportunity to gain invaluable insight about investing in a hands-on environment and be exposed to the realities of the investment world from a young age.  Students participating in this contest are presented with a wealth of benefits including:

•          Hands-on experience of how stock markets function

Exposure to the realities of the investment world

•          Access to leaders in the investment community through exclusive speaking engagements at the Club’s regular meetings

Monthly Saxon merchandise giveaways and treats

In addition to sponsoring, promoting and administering the competition, Saxon Pensions will award monthly prizes along with a grand prize of $2,500 and a $500 cash prize for the runner-up. The annual competition teaches fifty fledgling investors and features a simulation of the New York Stock Exchange, enabling students from 14 to 19 years to experience the highs and lows of what it might be like to trade in the real world using virtual startup capital of $100,000.
