UPDATE: Shooting Incidents in East End

Both the following incidents occurred in East End
The first incident occurred at 6:53 pm on Tuesday 27 November 2012. A female reported that she was walking along East Boulevard in East End when she was hit in the back with what she suspects to be a BB pellet. On arrival of the police she stated that she saw two males with what appeared to be a gun under his arm leaving the location. The Police attended the area but no one was located. No injuries were sustained in that incident.
The second incident occurred at 8:05 pm on Wednesday 28-Nov-12 on Fiddlers Way off Sea View Rd, East End. A young man and his companion were both walking along Fiddler’s Way in East End when they heard an explosion described as a gun shot, and shortly after felt himself shot in the back. He received very minor injury, reported the matter to the police who responded and mounted an operation, which resulted in the recovery of a BB gun and the arrest of one suspect.
The firearm which was recovered (BB gun) is believed to have been stolen in a burglary on the 23rd November 2012 in the district, and from which two firearms and a quantity of ammunition were stolen. One firearm is still outstanding from that burglary.
A .22 magnum rifle which was stolen from another burglary in the district on the 9th November 2012 was also recovered on Wednesday 14th of November 2012 in a police operation. Two firearms and a quantity of ammunition were stolen in that burglary and one is still outstanding.

Shooting Incidents in East End, Grand Cayman Involving BB Gun; One injured, One Arrested and Gun Recovered
Following a report of one person shot and slightly injured in the back by what appeared to be a BB Gun at 8:05 pm on Wednesday 28-Nov-12 on Fiddlers Way off Sea View Rd, East End, a combined team of Police Officers from the Eastern Districts, the Uniform Support Group, the Operational Support Unit and the Air Support Unit mounted an operation which resulted in the arrest of one suspect on suspicion, and the recovery of what is believed to be the BB Gun used in the shooting.
