UPDATE: Man stabbed – stable condition in George Town Hospital

At 2:30 pm today, the 31-year-old George Town male was formally charged for the offences of wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
He will be appearing before the court tomorrow, Sunday,14th of December 2014,
The victim is still in stable condition at the George Town Hospital.

This morning (13/12/’14) at about 3:12 am shots were fired in the vicinity of Shedden Road, George Town. A 27-year-old George Town male was arrested, and he is currently in police custody. A Ford Edge SUV was damaged as a result of the gun shots. No one was physically injured.
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the shooting, or who may have information that could assist the investigators are asked to contact Detective Inspector Joseph Wright at 949-7710 of the Serious Crime Task Force or Crime Stoppers on 800 8477(TIPS).
Man stabbed – stable condition in George Town Hospital

This morning (13/12/’14) at about 3:31 am a 47-year-old George Town male received a serious stab wound to his chest area. He was transported to the George Town Hospital where he underwent surgery, and he is in stable condition. A 31-year-old George Town male was arrested in respect of the wounding, and he is currently in police custody.
The incident happened in the vicinity of Jacques Scott, Shedden Road.
