‘Silicon Valley Bank Cayman vs. FDIC’ to be analyzed at OffshoreAlert Miami

The legal battle by foreign depositors of the Cayman Islands Branch of Silicon Valley Bank to be treated ‘fairly’ by the FDIC will be analyzed at this month’s OffshoreAlert Miami conference.

The session will look at the issues raised in the proceedings and discuss the wider impact on future bank failures, particularly banks with offshore branches.

It will be presented by one of SVB Cayman’s liquidators, Niall Ledwidge, of Stout, and two attorneys who have been involved in the legal fight, Warren Gluck, of Holland & Knight, and Paul Kennedy, of Campbells.
