Singing Christmas tree at First Assembly
The First Assembly of God church in George Town held a musical extravaganza “Birth of a King,” which included a real live singing Christmas tree.
The free event was truly spectacular, with a choir singing from inside a huge, beautifully decorated conical Christmas tree. The event featured performances from the Cayman National Choir, the Red Bay Choir, and many other different school bands and church choirs.
The idea for the event came from Elsa Bobb, wife of the First Assembly’s pastor, Rev. Torrance Bob, who opened the event with a prayer.
