Single Vehicle Collision in Cayman Brac

Just before 12:15AM today, Thursday 29 October 2020, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a single vehicle collision in the vicinity of Tibbetts Turn and Watering Place in Cayman Brac.
The collision involved a white Honda CRV and a light pole, resulting in damaged power lines and Island wide power outage for about three (3) hours.
One man was injured as a result of the collision and was transported to the Faith Hospital for treatment. He is believed to have serious but non-life-threatening injuries and is considered to be in a stable condition. He remains in the hospital at this time for further treatment.
The matter is currently under investigation.
