From 1963 to today, a refined, updated edition that guides the reader into the universe of super sports cars

Sant’Agata Bolognese, 18 July 2023 – Automobili Lamborghini and Rizzoli present “Lamborghini”, the book celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of the company, by the author Antonio Ghini.

The book is the most complete photographic compendium dedicated to the history of Automobili Lamborghini’s super sports cars and also dives into lesser known or unknown aspects of its history, such as the never-completed projects for Formula 1 and the construction of offshore engines.

One chapter is dedicated to the great designers responsible for the most famous Lamborghinis, while a completely new section explains how the company and its super sports cars will be more sustainable according to the “Direzione Cor Tauri” program. The company will see the progressive and continuous electrification of models through hybrid technologies, including the addition of a full electric model incorporating new technologies capable of retaining essential Lamborghini characteristics and emotions.

The work is completed by highly refined pages with images of past and present models, including the new Lamborghini Revuelto, the first V12 coupé with hybrid propulsion and power over 1,000 hp. This book is the updated edition of the volume published in 2020 and presents, with hitherto unpublished texts and images, all the new models created in recent years. The Italian version is now on sale in the main bookstores, online stores and lamborghini.com. The English translation, already available via Lamborghini e-commerce, will be distributed in over 70 countries starting from 10 October 2023.
