A Solomon Harris team lead by partner, Ian Jamieson, recently acted for Europe-based, SMP Partners Group, on its agreement to purchase RBC’s Trust Custody and Fund Administration businesses in the Caribbean. The SMP Partners Group is a leading independent trust and corporate services provider with offices in the Isle of Man, Hong Kong, Zurich and Dubai. The Group has a global client base spanning over 60 different jurisdictions. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions and is expected to close in a few months.
