Sony Music Caribbean talent search

SONY MUSIC’S talent search for a young male Caribbean reggae/pop artiste closes on Monday 29th, July 2013.
“We know there is undiscovered talent in the Caribbean, so it’s an opportunity for an artist or talented youngster in his teens to mid 20’s to have a shot at a major record deal,” says Caribbean Media & Entertainment Consultant Josanne Leonard.
Leonard who has been coordinating the pan-Caribbean search for SONY MUSIC observes “we are not the most time-sensitive people so this is the very last opportunity for anyone who is seriously interested,” she added.
Interested persons should only send social media music links and electronic press kits (EPK’s) to [email protected] or submit a demo CD with photo, age and contact information to: Sony Music Scout, 305 Goodwood Heights, Morne Coco Road, Diego Martin, Trinidad.
Leonard stressed that they will not be accepting any music files (mp3’s) since “It’s very easy to upload material to YouTube and similar digital formats.”
Demo submissions that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.
SONY Music is a global record company with a roster that includes the works of a broad array of international superstars such as Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood and the late legend Michael Jackson.
