Splash, Dash and Brunch in Cayman Islands with Eric Vendt
The weekend will have something for everyone, starting with Age Group Clinics for the local swim community on Friday, January 22nd; two Sea Swims (200M and 400M distances) on Saturday, January 23rd and brunch with Olympians and CIASA Annual Award Ceremony on Sunday 24th.
Michael Lockwood, CIASA’s President comments: “CIASA is proud to host Erik Vendt during its Splash Dash and Brunch celebration weekend. Erik is a three-time Olympian and Olympic medalist (gold in 2008, silver in 2000 and 2004), and was the first American to break 15 minutes and set a new American record in the 1,500 freestyle at the 2000 Olympic Trials. In addition to being the key note speaker at our annual award’s brunch, Erik will conduct Age Group clinics and participate in the Care Pharmacy sea swim. We are very fortunate to have someone of Erik’s caliber here in Cayman to celebrate this weekend with us. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank KPMG for their continued generous support which is instrumental in assisting us to provide a fun, inspirational weekend whilst also enabling us to acknowledge the success of our swimmers.”
