As many of you already know I am taking part in the Cayman Islands Olympic distance triathlon on November 3rd. If any of you would like to sponsor me for the race I will be raising funds to help out the various programs the NCVO operates including their foster home. As of today there will be a sheet and envelope behind the bar at Calicos for anyone that wants to help a great cause.

The NCVO Annual Radio Telethon is now in its 34th year, and is arguably the longest running fundraising event in the Cayman Islands. This year it will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2. The goal is $140,000 and with your help, they should be able to reach it.

This year the fundraiser will be shown live from the Prospect Playhouse Theatre where again, the public is welcome to stop by. No doubt there will be entertainers donating their time and talents to the cause, along with hosts taking you through the evening and keeping you updated on the latest totals. Free finger foods, door prize raffle and open bar. GREAT PRIZES and increase your chances to win by making a pledge in support of the NCVO children services programmes.
