YORKE, ZIDANE, FIGO FEATURE ON SPORTSMAX

Kingston, Jamaica (May 30, 2013) – The legends of two of the world’s most prominent football teams, Manchester United and Real Madrid, will suit up to play in the Manchester United Charity Match tie this Sunday, June 2 at 3:30pm JA (4:30pm ECT) and action will be aired live on SportsMax TV.

Man. United’s impressive line-up includes Trinidad & Tobago’s Dwight Yorke plus Andy Cole, Edwin Van De Sar & Teddy Sheringham while Real Madrid will field the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Ruud Van Nistlerooy, Claudio Makelele & Luis Figo among other big names in world football history.

Manchester United legends lost to Real Madrid legends last season 3-2  at the Santiago Bernabeu last summer and will be seeking victory at Old Trafford.

Track legend, and the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt was also invited to play for the Manchester United Legends but he was unable to accept the offer due to other athletic commitments.

In addition to the Legends match, SportsMax will also broadcast the USA vs. Germany international friendly match as the USA gets prepared to take on the Reggae Boys in an upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
