St Ignatius announces winners of Carol Service fundraiser
St. Ignatius Catholic Church and School Candlelight Carol Service & Christmas Fundraiser Wednesday, December 18 resulted in local realtor Sheena Conolly being the big winner of $25,000.
Other winners were:
Natasha Wight and Philip Stewart –$2,500 each.
ClearnBodden sold the winning ticket and received $1,000
Daryn sold the most tickets and received $1,000.
Lazarus Moraes sold the second highest number of tickets and received $500.
There are several additional prizes, including five Cayman Airways USD$300 travel vouchers and restaurant gift certificates for LUCA and Ragazzi.
Accounting firm KPMG conducted an audit of the tickets and the company’s audit manager witnessed the drawing of the tickets.
This is the main annual fundraiser for St Ignatius, with net proceeds benefiting both the church and the school. The church will invest funds towards facilities improvements in Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac. The school will use the proceeds towards the facilities development fund, with a portion of the proceeds earmarked for the scholarship fund, which provides tuition assistance for those families who are unable to afford full school fees.
