St. Lucia keeps Caribbean Tourism Queen title
St. Lucia has retained the Miss Caribbean Tourism Queen Pageant title.
Louise Victor, 22, won the competition on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Carnival Village in Basseterre, St. Kitts.
Saturday’s victory was “mission accomplished” for Victor who graduated from Monroe College (St. Lucia Campus) a few days before departing to participate in the pageant. She majored in business management and a minor in marketing.
Consuelo Dupal won last year’s title along with the Best Evening Gown award.
Eleven countries competed for this prestigious title. The delegates competed in seven segments, five of which were judged.
This year’s pageant was held under the theme “Caribbean Beauties Coming Together As One Nation”.
Victor was selected by Lady J Pageant Coaching and Consulting Committee to represent St. Lucia.
Described as a stunning 5’11 beauty by the Committee, Victor has been participating in pageants for the past four years.
In 2012 she was selected by Lady J Pageants to compete at the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant held in Nevis where she placed second runner-up and captured the Best Swim Wear award.
