The Christmas Spirit officially alit on the Cayman Islands last evening (Wednesday, 4 December), with the advent of the Sunrise Centre’s annual Christmas Programme.

“Star of Wonder” was the theme of the night, which featured songs, music, skits and nativity scenes. Education Minister the Hon. Tara Rivers and many relatives and supporters of the adult with special-needs were in the audience.

Director Shari Smith and staff coordinated the evening of colourful costumes, festive entertainment, and thanksgiving.

The Centre has 68 adult clients from across Grand Cayman, who are provided access to life-skill and vocational training, as well as work placement and supervision.
