Purpose, details or description of event:
Our Summer Film Project is a specialized camp geared at teens building empathy toward social issues by watching a film and designing activities that allow teens to interact with the themes of that film. As part of the STOOD UP Campaign, the film that will be viewed this year is ‘Cyber Bullying’.
Students will get a chance to write and produce video clips that will allow other students to learn how they should be treating each other. The videos will be used as education tools.
The Summer Film Project runs from 5-9 August, 2013 from 8:30am to 12:30pm and it is a free camp for individuals that feel strongly about bullying.
