Special Guest Readers for December’s Rotary Central’s Story Time at George Town Library

On Saturday December 7th, 2013, at 11:00 am, the Hon. Tara Rivers will be a guest reader at our December Story Time event at the George Town Library.

Every month, Rotary Central’s Literacy Committee hosts a story time for preschool thru primary-aged school to listen to various children’s stories based on a monthly theme.  This month’s story time theme is Christmas, and Minister Rivers will begin the event by reading a Christmas story to the children, sharing her love for literacy and reading.  Then Santa Claus will appear toward the end of the event and read the classic children’s tale “ ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas!”.

The event takes place in the children’s section of the George Town Library from 11 am – 12 noon.  Everyone is welcome, it is open to the public free of charge and there will be Christmas goodies for the children as well.  In attendance will be our distinguished guests, Minister Rivers and Santa Claus, Rotarians from Rotary Central as well as Friends of Rotarians.
