DLG e.V.
2,000 exhibitors from 51 countries already signed up for the world’s leading trade fair for professional animal farming and livestock management – World Poultry Show to present all leading companies in poultry farming – Great demand for country pavilions – November 12 to 15, 2024 in Hanover, Germany – www.eurotier.com
(DLG). The EuroTier trade fair -12-15 November in Hanover, Germany – is gathering a large number of international companies. With 2,000 exhibitors from 51 countries already committed nine months before the exhibition starts, the world’s leading trade fair for animal farming and livestock management is at pre-pandemic levels, according to the organizer, the DLG, (German Agricultural Society).
All leading companies from the poultry industry will be taking part in the World Poultry Show, which will be part of EuroTier 2024. The global significance of EuroTier is underlined by the high number of country pavilions. National and regional pavilions from Canada, China, Finland, France, Northern Ireland, South Korea, the UK and the USA have been registered. EnergyDecentral, the international trade fair for decentralized power generation and agricultural energy and the Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show, the DLG’s new platform for self-contained food systems like indoor farming, will be held in parallel with the world’s leading trade fair. The DLG is still taking exhibitor registrations.
Under the guiding theme “We innovate animal farming”, the EuroTier innovation platform for the global livestock sector presents technical solutions and established standards for cattle, pig and poultry production. The topics of sheep and goats, boarding horses, aquaculture, alternative proteins and direct farm sales round off the exhibition and its technical program. The trade fair portfolio covers products and services for the entire value chain of foodstuffs of animal origin. These include genetics, feed and operating resources, husbandry and feeding systems, climate and environmental technology, digitalization, milking and cooling technology, manure management and manure removal, transport, processing, sales and marketing as well as services for agricultural production.
Comprehensive technical program jointly with industry partners
Nine months before the start of the trade fair, exhibitors and professional partners are already showing strong interest in EuroTier’s technical program. Under the guiding theme “We innovate animal farming”, the DLG is presenting a professional technical program with a large number of events and conferences on the current topics of the livestock sector. These include the international marketplace for live cattle breeds, the “TopTierTreff”; the Barn Robot Event, which presents automatic feed pushing for cattle; the spotlights on poultry “AI in the poultry house”; and pigs “No docking”; direct farm sales; and farm slaughtering. In the conference program, the International Cattle & Pig Event, the International Poultry Conference, the Poultry Event and the Animal Health Event offer a mix of international keynotes, round tables, award ceremonies and subsequent networking activities.
Expanded technical program
In addition to a restructured technical program with its Expert Stages, where specialists discuss current topics and strategies from the poultry, beef, pig, horse, decentralized energy and new agricultural and food systems sectors, the DLG has also further expanded its exhibition and technical program in the area of start-ups. The “agrifood start-ups” area not only presents innovative industry solutions from entrepreneurial companies but also works as a networking area for the companies and investors. In the DLG.Prototype.Club, teams of software engineers present prototypes in response to technical challenges set by exhibitors in advance.
For the first time at EuroTier, there is focus on suppliers at a dedicated area at EuroTier for suppliers’ solutions that support manufacturers of technical equipment and services. “Supplier Industry – powered by Systems & Components”, the name of the new area, is aimed at engineers and purchasing managers as well as system integrators for feeding technology, milking systems, transport wagons, presses and mixing and dosing systems.
Another new feature is the global B2B meeting place for self-contained agricultural and food systems of the future, the Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show. Closely networked with agricultural practice, the innovative exhibition with event area offers specialist information, perspectives, innovations and business along the value chain – from feed to food.
Ideal complement: EnergyDecentral
The EnergyDecentral exhibition takes place in Hanover in parallel with EuroTier. The trade fair has established itself as the leading platform for decentralized energy supply and covers the entire value chain of sustainable energy production: Resources, energy generation and smart energy.
