15 delightful photos of the Supreme Cat Show on Instagram

For one blissful day a year, serious cat lovers across Europe gather at the Supreme Cat Show to pay tribute to the most beautiful cats on the continent.

The competition, which took place Saturday in Birmingham, England, is produced by the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy.

For more than 30 years, thousands of beautiful cats have competed for top titles in categories

organized by breed, and for the coveted top prize of “Supreme Exhibit.” This year’s highest honor went to a British Lilac Tortie whimsically named Premier Pinemarten Tina Sparkle
