Besides eating lots of food and drinking lots of wine, there’s so much more to do at Taste of Cayman! Take silly pics of yourself and your family and friends in the Picture This photo booth; visit the Flava seating area and get a recipe booklet plus enter to win a trip to a food festival in London; collect some spices from the McCormick seating area; win a spot prize in the Scotiabank seating area, learn how to make a new dish in the demo kitchen, watch the bartenders mix it up in the Cayman Rum Challenge; ooh and aah at the spectacular fireworks and dance the night away to Swanky Kitchen Band and ABBA Mania! Come for the food but stay for the party!
Meet Our Chefs: Mike Fischetti (Ortanique)
Ortanique has been a part of the Camana Bay landscape since 2010. Inspired by the sun and sea, Ortanique offers an intensely flavourful cuisine. Award winning chef/owner Cindy Hutson is known for creating dishes using traditional Caribbean ingredients in an innovative way. By concentrating on the wonderful flavor combination’s of fish, fruits, vegetables and traditional tropical seasonings, Ortanique offers diners authentic Caribbean cuisine with a fresh, light attitude. Every year at Taste of Cayman, each attendee has the chance to make his or her voice heard as the participating restaurants vie for the prestigious title of ‘Cayman’s Favourite Restaurant!’
Meet Our Chefs: Raymond Jackson (Al La Kebab)
Al La Kebab is a favourite with both locals and tourists. Serving up healthy and fast Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food along with friendly service, Al La Kebab has been around since 2002. It doesn’t hurt that the joint is open into the wee hours of the morning either!
For catering of weddings, corporate events and private parties or anything else that has to do with Cayman food, there’s a sister company, Dine by Design too!

How To Enjoy Taste of Cayman The Right Way!
We’ve hosted this festival for a long time so it’s safe to say we’ve learned a few things about the best way to enjoy Taste of Cayman. Here we offer you some tips to help you plan your festival experience.
Get your ticket now! Save $10 before the price goes up on Saturday, 8 February, the day of the festival
We’re on a grass field so wear comfortable shoes! If you’re bringing a stroller, consider how it will maneuver on gravel and grass and determine the best plan for your family
Arrive alive. There are tons of wonderful wines, spirits and brews to taste and enjoy throughout the night. Make plans BEFORE you come to the festival for how you will get home. Arrange for a designated driver, use Homesafe from The Security Centre or take a taxi home.
