The Cayman Islands Department of Vehicle and Drivers Licensing announced on Monday (29) that permanent car licence-plates are available again.

The Department of Vehicle and Drivers Licensing advises drivers who were issued temporary car plates or rental plates, to return these to the same office that issued them (either the Crewe Road or West Bay location).

Drivers should ensure that they also bring their car’s logbooks and temporary licence coupons for these transactions, after which they will be issued with permanent plates.

The Licensing Department are urging all drivers with these temporary plates to do this as soon as possible but not later than November 30^th.
