The 2012 Cayman Islands Legends Tournament will take place at The Courts at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman from 30 October to 3 November.

About The Courts at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Nick Bollettieri, the coach behind tennis greats Andre Agassi, Monica Seles and Maria Sharapova, has created a custom tennis programme for The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. The centre is staffed by professionals trained at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida.

The Courts is the venue for other prestigious tennis events apart from The Legends Tennis Tournament, which include The Cayman Classic and The Masters Invitational, junior tennis tournament.

• Professional instruction for all ability levels
• Weekly Junior Tennis Programs for ages 6 – 16

• Custom designed clinics for families and groups with Bollettieri-style drilling, technical instruction and match play

Scheduled to take part in the Legends Tournament include: Martina Hingis, Stefan Edberg, Iva Majoli, Wayne Ferreira, Jimmy Arias, Murphy Jensen and Mark Philippoussis.

The beneficiary of the Legends Tournament will once again be the Cayman Crisis Centre with all the proceeds from a raffle going to the Centre. Proceeds from the tournament will be split between the Crisis Centre and the Cayman Islands Tennis Federation’s junior programme.

The event is sponsored by KPMG, the Tennis Federation of the Cayman Islands, Cayman Financial Review, Deutsche Bank, Mourant Ozannes, Paladyne and Virgin Unite.
