The agenda for the 3rd Latin American Congress of Digital Health, set to take place in the Dominican Republic, has been released
More than thirty local and international speakers will discuss the future of digital health.

Congress of Digital Health, themed “Creating the health of the future,” was announced. The event will be held on October 10th at the JW Marriott hotel in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The announced was made by Fedor Vidal, CEO of Arium Salud Digital, and Amelia Reyes Mora, president of AF Comunicación Estratégica.
“The digitalization of healthcare is imperative to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency. It impacts everyone, from providers to patients, and is essential for delivering the care quality required in the 21st century. Our dedication to digital transformation is a direct investment in the well-being of those we serve,” stated Vidal.
Reyes Mora emphasized that the event aims “to foster constructive dialogue on pertinent health industry issues within the country and region, and to explore how technology and e-health can effectively address the challenges we encounter.”
The congress will share insights and lessons to progress towards a brighter health future. It will commence with opening remarks by Dr. Víctor Atallah, the Minister of Public Health and Social Assistance of the Dominican Republic. Thirty speakers, including health center representatives and tech experts from various countries, will discuss digital health’s future.
An inaugural cocktail is scheduled for October 9, hosted by José Ignacio Paliza, the Minister of the Presidency of the Dominican Republic.
This edition features an engaging agenda that includes six panels and four keynote speeches, addressing topics such as “The Future of Digital Health,” “The Impact of Innovation, Digital Acceleration, and the Adoption of New Technologies in Healthcare,” and “The Challenge of Data Interoperability and Open Platforms.”
Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to explore “The Interrelationship and Synergies Between Providers and Insurers in a Digital World,” “The Skills and Challenges for the Future Health Workforce,” and “Applications of Artificial Intelligence to Enhance Patient Care.”
Furthermore, discussions will cover “Lessons from the Digital Transformation of the Health Sector in Latin America and the United States,” “Cybersecurity in Hospitals and Clinics: The New Major Challenge,” and “Ways to Improve and Humanize the Patient Experience in a Digital World,” featuring prominent sector representatives from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the United States, and Mexico.
Finally, success stories for digitalization in relevant healthcare centers in the Dominican will also be showcased.
