The Caring for Life Foundation receives donation from Foster’s Food Fair IGA
George Town, 14 May, 2012 – The Caring for Life Foundation, whose mission is to raise funds to help improve healthcare in the Cayman Islands, announces the receipt of a cheque for CI $1,189 from Foster’s Food Fair IGA.
Foster’s fundraising initiative was part of a multi-faceted campaign recently launched by the Foundation to ‘Multiply the Love,’ by reaching out to the community to raise funds for supplies and equipment needed by the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority.
During the campaign, shoppers at the Islands’ many Foster’s Food Fair IGA locations were invited to donate to the Foundation, right at the register when paying for their groceries. In addition to raising funds for the Foundation, the programme also helped to raise awareness about the importance of Caring for Life and its mission. “We are pleased to have partnered with the Caring for Life Foundation for this campaign,” says Ayiesha DeCoteau, Marketing Manager at Foster’s Food Fair IGA. “Special thanks to our customers for their contributions, which we know will be put to immediate good use.”

Any donation, large or small, makes a difference.”
Since it was first launched, the foundation has raised funds for several important purchases, including equipment to test the hearing of all infants born at the Cayman Islands Hospital. The recent Scotiabank Golf Tournament brought an injection of more than CI $25,000 to the Foundation.
